GIS technician at Centro de Informação Geoespacial do Exército

- Working on a NATO Project called “Multinational Geospacial Co-Production Program” (MGCP), that features the implementation of a worldwide Geographical Information System to the scale of 1/50 000 and 1/100 000.
Main Activities:
- Vectorization in CAD, utilizing Microstation SE software, of old Cartography editions, satellite imagery and orthophotos.
- Graphic, geometrical and topological validation, of the vector information, utilizing PLTS (Production Line Tool Set) software, that consists on an extension of the ArcGIS software;
- Loading and harmonization of numeric attributes and alphanumeric attributes en accordance to the requirements of the data model from the MGCP group;
- Quality Control of graphic, geometrical and topological vector information;
- System Coordinate transformation using the MGE Coordinate System software.
